DemiSlave: The 2nd Coming of Moses

A multi-theatrical one-woman work in progress, DemiSlave: The 2nd coming of Moses, retells the childhood and adolescence of Araminta “Minty” Ross (also known as Harriet Tubman). A 25-year-old slave woman recounts her earlier acts of resistance as The Spirit guides her toward transformation from enslaved to liberated.



SevanKelee Boult (Lucky 7) is a well known Bay Area poet and performer. This UC Berkeley graduate is a Poetry For The People Alum, has a minor in Theatre Arts and is continuously redefining her poetry and performance. Gracing such stages as The Palace of Fine Arts, Yerba Buena, De Young Museum, Brava Theater and The Marsh Theater(s) in San Francisco, she has also represented several Bay Area slam teams over the past fifteen years. In 2014, she became the only person in the Bay to win the honored title Grand Slam Champion of different Bay Area Slam teams (SF, Berkeley, Oakland, and Palo Alto). SevanKelee’s poem “Cucumber” has been seen on HBO Real Sex since 2000.



Arielle Cole’s ArcTangent Dance in “Phone, Keys, Wallet”


“Phone, Keys, Wallet” explores society’s transition from analog to digital through the lens of the millennial experience. Using comedy and drama, ArcTangent Dance delves into vanity versus self-acceptance, success versus reality, and the overwhelming empathy for the world at large.


ArcTangent Dance is a contemporary dance company based in San Jose, CA, under the direction of Arielle Cole. Arielle created the company in 2018 with the goal of creating artistic work inspiring to both the audience and the performing artist. Arielle has a BFA from SUNY Buffalo and has presented her work at Onyx Spotlight, InsPURation, Dance Out Loud, and held a choreographic residency at SFCD.
