When: July 12th and July 13th, 8:00 pm

Dawn Frank Holtan presents her evening-length work, Cracking Open: The Final Offering. Lit entirely from within by the performers, Cracking Open immerses the audience in surreal worlds that are saturated with color and informed by nonlinear narratives. This journey through loss has been in development since the fall of 2016, and it will not be performed again.

Dawn Frank Holtan is a dance theater artist who creates collaboratively. Her work is interdisciplinary, blending nonlinear story, raw movement and live sound. An Oakland native, Bard College graduate, and former co-director of Frank and Bryan Dance, Dawn’s “poignant and unpretentious” early work was performed throughout the Bay Area, in NYC, and abroad.
